The New York City Council Speaker Is A Role Model For All Women
Speaker of the New York City Council, Quinn is the first female and openly gay person to hold this position. Currently working for Mayor Bloomberg, Quinn has served as the Executive Director of the New York City Anti-Violence Project and was appointed by former mayor Rudy Giuliani to the NYC Police/Community Relations Task Force. She has boycotted the New York St. Patrick's Day Parade with regards to the Ancient Order of Hibernians's policy against homosexuals marching openly. Christine Quinn now lives in Chelsea with her partner, Kim Catullo.
